Special inspection are inspections with various tests necessary to determine materials compliance, fabrication, erection, or placement of components and connections critical to the structural integrity of the building, are performed in accordance with approved drawings and specifications. Quality Control Laboratories, LLC. (QCL) will conduct inspection and testing during construction to verify that work was performed in accordance with approved plans and specifications. Special inspections must be performed by special inspectors on behalf of a registered special inspection agency.
Quality Control Laboratories, LLC. have all the required certificates, experience and education as required in Appendix A of the Special Inspection Rule. These inspections and testing are performed by QCL qualified individuals in accordance with NYCDOB SIA requirements.
Quality Control laboratories, LLC. (QCL) is an IAS Certified Special Inspection Agency that caters on Structural, Civil, Architectural and Mechanical Special Inspections. QCL inspectors perform all structural inspections listed on the TR1, TR4, TR5, TR7 & TR8. QCL also is a licensed and accredited concrete Testing Laboratory that is fully capable of providing all necessary tests to certify required TR2 for your project.
